Services

Cleveland LibraryWe offer general legal services to members of the public. We believe in the rule of law which should be applied evenly to everyone, regardless of race, color, creed, or station in life. We diligently represent our clients within the confines of the Rules of Professional Conduct as promulgated by the Alabama Supreme Court. If we accept the representation, we abide by the client's decisions as to the objectives of the representation. We use our knowledge and experience to determine the means to obtain those objectives. Representing a client does not constitute approval of either the client's views or activities.

Our litigation practice is divided between representation of plaintiffs and defendants. We represent either debtors or creditors in bankruptcy. We believe that this gives us a better balance than would be the case if we limited our practice to the representation of either plaintiffs or defendants, or to creditors or debtors. We also believe that trying lawsuits helps us in preparing legal documents. For example, having tried contract lawsuits helps us in the negotiation and preparation of contracts. Having tried will contests assists us in preparing wills.
